The 2013 $2 coin commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was issued by the Royal Australian Mint. This coloured uncirculated coin features concentric purple stripes surrounding a central depiction of St Edward’s Crown, symbolizing the royal heritage and the significance of the occasion. The design was created after extensive consultation with Buckingham Palace.
