Return and Refund Policy for Cosican Coins

At Cosican Coins, we strive to ensure that our customers are fully satisfied with their purchases.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product you purchased:

  • Is faulty, damaged, or defective

  • Is not as described or does not match the sample or demonstration model

  • Is not fit for purpose or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do

However, due to the nature of our products (collectible and precious coins), returns and refunds are subject to the following terms:


1. Returns

  • Eligibility for Returns: Coins can only be returned if they are in their original, unaltered condition. Coins that have been tampered with, cleaned, or damaged by the buyer are non-returnable.

  • Return Period: You may return items within 30 days from the date you received your order. Returns initiated after this period will not be accepted.

  • Exceptions: Certain items Pre ordered coins that not normally stocked, Change of mind, Graded or Certified Coins, Coins marked as “final sale” or non-returnable, found cheaper somewhere else or didn't like the look of the  purchase in the product description, are not eligible for return.


2. Refunds

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be issued for items that are returned in their original condition and meet the criteria for returns. Refunds will be processed once we receive and inspect the returned item.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during the purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we process the return.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping fees are non-refundable. You will be responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., receiving the wrong item or faulty goods).


3. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Us: To start a return, please contact us at cosicancoins@myyahoo.com or 0402 594 008 within 30 days of receiving your order. Provide your order number and details about the item you wish to return and why.

  2. Return Instructions: Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with detailed instructions on how to return the item, including the return address.

  3. Return Shipping: Ensure that the coin is carefully packed to avoid damage during transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and insurance to cover the value of the coin in case of loss or damage during return shipping.


4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Damage During Shipping: If your coin is damaged during shipping or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you.

  • Proof of Damage: In the case of damage, please provide photographs of the damaged packaging and the coin to help us process your claim.


5. Non-returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Pre Ordered coins not normally stocked.

  • Graded or Certified Coins once they have been opened or tampered with.

  • Final Sale or Clearance items.

  • Coins that have been altered, cleaned, or damaged by the customer.


6. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, you must return the original coin and place a new order for the desired item.
